The aim of The Girls’ Brigade is to help girls to become followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through self-control, reverence and a sense of responsibility, to find true enrichment of life. The motto of the girls’ Brigade is to Seek Serve & Follow Christ. In living out our aim and motto, Girls’ Brigade NI produce a new scripture course each year, to enable effective teaching of God’s word to our young girls, in a style that is relevant to them. Using colourful journals for Seniors and Brigaders, puzzles books for Juniors and activity sheets for Explorers the course aims to be bright lively and attractive to each relevant age group. All come with easy to follow teaching notes so GB leaders can literally pick up the book and be ready to go. How do I get the course? Details are announced in the GBNI newsletter and order forms distributed, usually in the issue closest to Easter. Deadline for orders is end of May each year. Orders must be pre paid in full – so we can pay the printer! Orders are available for collection from mid August – date announced in June GBNI newsletter. A small overstock of the various elements of the course is listed in the online shop from September onwards for companies who require a top up order – perhaps you have more new members joined for example than when you placed your original order.
